The advent of a new global business environment has and will continue to create uncertainty in the corporate world. In this demanding period of economic turmoil, the role of in-house legal has risen to an even more prominent position in the eyes of the board. Strategic, risk and people management are just a few of the critical roles in-house counsel has to play as business guardian. The consequences of failure in any of these functions poses a serious threat to future business success.
Now in its seventh year, Legal Week’s Corporate Counsel Forum has established itself as the premier European event for leaders of in-house legal departments.
